Vent for Change sell beautifully designed ethical stationary to achieve a global mission; worldwide education for all children. It all started with our wonderful little pencil factory in Worcestershire that has been producing recycled pencils since 2014. We wanted to give back; our currency was our pencils but the priority was money to rebuild schools, pay teachers and provide essential materials. So we sell our pencils here and from the proceeds support existing education projects globally.

We raise money for global education projects, we currently support Plan International’s education projects. Our products are earth friendly: our pencils are made from recycled CD cases and our totes are reusable to reduce the use of plastic. We also run Share a Pencil Day, which takes place on the 23rd of May, is an educational day dedicated to teaching primary and secondary school children about schools in poverty. This year over 70,000 children took part. As well as this we will be running an ambassador programme, which will give any travellers volunteering overseas, the opportunity to take 50 of our recycled pencils with them for free.
