At Bee Green HQ, we had the pleasure of sampling and tasting Gosh!’s entire range and we quite enjoyed some of these scrumptious vegetarian burgers, bakes and bites.

Here’s more on what we thought of each of the individual flavours, in order of preference.

Chickpea, Courgette & Moroccan Spiced Bakes topped with Harissa peppers

These bakes are number one on our list. We loved the mildly spiced kick from the Harissa peppers. The flavour combination of the courgettes, chickpeas and Moroccan spices was the perfect blend. Theses bakes would make great burgers and wraps.

Sweetcorn & Quinoa Bites with a Hint of Harissa & Paprika

Yummy bites, that are great as snacks or nibbles for parties. Again, the kick from the Harissa and Paprika was just right. They reminded us of a healthier alternative to onion bhajis, with all the goodness of quinoa.

Beetroot, Kale & Quinoa burgers with a hint of mint

We were mildly surprised with this combination of ingredients, as we hadn’t tried a beetroot burger before. Surprisingly, the beetroot wasn’t too sweet and was well complemented with the flavour of mint. A great superfood combination of Kale and Quinoa, make this an interesting yet healthy burger.

Mixed Seed, Quinoa, Carrot & Corriander Bakes with a Minted Pea Centre

Decent flavours overall, with refreshing mint and coriander. However if you’re not a fan of coriander, then you might not enjoy this as much, as the flavour is quite strong. It’s a good thing that we’re fans of coriander. We were a tad disappointed with the minted pea centre, as we were hoping for more of a mushy pea centre instead of randomly mashed peas. But that’s just our preference. However, the crunchy texture from the mixed seeds made up for it.

Mushroom, Puy Lentil & Butter Bean Burgers

As the main ingredients would suggest, these burgers were quite dry in comparison to the others in the Gosh! free from range. Flavour-wise too, there isn’t much to go on. We found these burgers quite bland. But nothing a great sauce or gravy couldn’t fix.

Our Serving Suggestions | Recommendations

We would recommend accompanying these burgers, bakes and bites with either a sauce, dressing or salad.

We enjoyed these most with:

  • A tomato-based sauce
  • Onion Gravy and Sauteed Vegetables
  • Guacamole or Salsa
  • Reggae Reggae Sauce

The Gosh! range is available at selected Tesco stores and online for £2.50. Gosh recently launched at selected Morrisons stores nationwide.

Do give these a try if you want to indulge but eat healthy at the same time!
